Accounting Manager
Location:
Nanjing, China
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Reporting and analysis
a.
Perform and manage the financial reporting function for all offices located within China, including management reporting and analysis.
b.
Manage the month end and quarter end close process, ensure accuracy and completeness of the China operations’ financial statements. Consolidate all China operation on a monthly basis and report to corporate in a timely fashion.
c.
Manage monthly key account reconciliations
d.
Work with both finance and business management to identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers.
e.
Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual revenue, expense and operating metrics, providing regular updates to US headquarter.
f.
Provide all schedules & explanations per audit request
g.
Ensure all China tax reporting requirements are met and business operations are in compliance with local tax and legal requirements
Financial and operational controls
a.
Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure adequate internal control
b.
Manage the control and compliance process to support company policies and procedures and good accounting practices as stated in GAAP policy.
c.
Develops a strong relationship with operating management to ensure that both operational and financial controls are created and implemented to achieve the business and company's goals.
d.
Support in interpretation and implementation of corporate policies and best practices
e.
Participate in contracts review.
Provide copies of key contracts entered by China offices to corporate
Budgeting and Forecasting
a.
Assist regional management team in preparation of the annual budget
b.
Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets
c.
Communicate forecast and variances explanations to the regional management team as well as corporate finance team.
d.
Control actual spending based on budget and communicate significant variances to corporate.
Revenue accounting and management
a.
Support sales team by coordinating the sales contract administration process to ensure 3rd party contracts satisfy corporate legal and revenue accounting policies.
b.
Advise sales management on revenue recognition issues that arise from new agreements.
c.
Work with management to assist in achieving their revenue and margin profitability targets
d.
Oversee the accounting for China region including revenue accounting, collections and cash flow.
Others
a.
Support functional activities as driven by the Corporate Finance management team
b.
Participation in cross functional programs and projects as required
c.
Participate in ERP system implementation

Skills /Experience
1.
BS/BA in Accounting/Finance. Active CPA in China.
2.
5 or more years of relevant experience preferably within semiconductor industry
3.
Strong financial analytical skills.
4.
Effective project management skills and the ability to prioritize and to meet tight deadlines
5.
Experience of forecasting and budgeting with a developed understanding of the cause and effect relationship between multiple P&L line items.
6.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
