Finance Leader

Role Purpose
Provide financial leadership to the finance organization of NNCE and all finance related matters in the JV. This role is to ensure that accounting and control are consistent with corporate policy and local statutory requirement. It is also a critical role to provide accurate business financial forecast to the regional FP&A .

Main responsibilities
1. To provide financial leadership and management to drive JV business success and achieve financial objective.
2 Develop business support relationship with the business leaders and Chinese partners
3. To provide accurate financial outlook and budget, and provide comprehensive variance analysis.
4. Support and coordinate Nortel required SOX and IAS activities and prime actions to close identified SOX and IAS issues.
5. Overall financial control including financial system, process and policies review.
6. Daily financial management which includes monthly closing review, business planning and budget preparation, ad hoc financial analysis and report to senior management for business decision making.
7. Financial report preparation and attending/presenting to JV's BOD meeting.
8. Project based accounting and timesheet collection program implementation in NCE. Enhance the service revenue recognition process to meet the US GAAP and local GAAP requirement.
9. To drive business model review to improve efficiency.
10. Provide day to day and ad hoc financial analysis and report to senior management for business decision making.
11. Routine approval and signature on internal documents, e.g. PR, PO, Payment Authorization, Pre-approval form for gift and entertainment, Oversea EEV and etc.
12. Inter-company ICIS (AR/AP) reconciliation and settlement with other Nortel entities.
Requirement:
- 10 years of working experience at foreign owned business or JV’s
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- MBA or CPA required
- Location: Beijing, with no relocation assistance.
