Job Title: Costing Manager

Reports to: China Finance Controller

Departments: Finance

Location: Shanghai

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for product costs of Shanghai factory: the cost analyst inputs and maintains average material costs, issues exception reports to operations personnel to ensure the integrity of cost information, and assists in the development and maintenance of labor and overhead rates.
• Responsible for the financial review and close of Oracle manufacturing work orders. Provides feedback to Operations to improve accuracy and adherence to Shanghai Oracle procedures.
• Responsible for all cost and inventory month-end close activities for the Shanghai Factory including standard cost updates, work order review, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Act as primary interface for costing on 3^rd party audits.
• Provide Quote feedback information to Operations.
• Assist Operations Management by developing and interpreting COGS in monthly Plant Profit and Loss Statement.
• Assist Business Division managers by developing and interpreting COGS in Division Monthly Profit and Loss statement. .
• Lead development of departmental budgets for Shanghai, and budget for Cost of Goods Sold based on budgeted revenues and product mix..
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications：

1 B.S. in Business Accounting; or Related discipline;

2 Minimum 3 years standard cost accounting work experience at the same position in MNC

3 Understanding of standard costs system inputs and maintenance. Understanding of discrete work orders and related transactions.

4 Advanced English required: must be able to communicate clearly and have excellent oral and written English skills in addition to Mandarin or Cantonese.

5 Computer skills including intermediate Excel and Oracle or similar ERP system knowledge, as used in an environment using Standard Costing and Discrete Job Manufacturing.
