Job Title Financial Controller

Department Finance

Location Beijing

Key Tasks

a). Finance monthly/annual closing process. Review and recommend improvements where required, to the monthly/annual finance closing and financial/management reporting process. Where necessary, to get assistance from the other non-finance department Heads to review and change their processes with a view to improve the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of the finance close process. End objective is to enable completion of the financial/management reporting within the shortest time possible, within reasonable level of reliability.

b). Investment process. Work with the management team to review, recommend improvements where required, and formalise the investment process. This will include risk profiling of the various Line of Business ("LOB") to help Board of Directors and staff better understand these LOBs.

c). Finance processes & policies. Review and recommend improvements where required, to the various finance processes/policies and related processes being conducted by non-finance departments, with a view to enhancing management controls and oversight over daily transactions. Such processes include Billing, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collection, Pricing, Accounts Payables, Disbursements, Vendor Selection, Banking & Cash Management, and so on.

Incumbent specification

Education: at least bachelor degree holder, preferably possess CPA or other recognized finance and accounting certificate

Experience: at least 5 years professional experience with 2 years or more Controller experience. Experience in Import & Export and Logistics field preferable.

Skill Sets: Minimum 5 years China experience. Good understanding of PRC accounting system and related legal requirements. Good understanding of international accounting standard and practices. Good communication and coordination abilities. Highly cooperative. Good command of Chinese and English (in listening, spoken, reading and writing).
