职位描述:

(i) Tax Consultancy
- Ensure no major tax risks in plants and secure all tax benefits
- Provide regular update to business units and Corporate team of relevant changes in tax regulations and impact
- Provide tax training for business units and Corporate team
- Provide tax consultancy to business units and Corporate team
- Perform monthly tax position and anlysis report, ensure correctness of tax forecasts
- Providing weekly update on tax irregularities, tax exposures, tax issues and tax practice change
(ii) Non-TP Tax Compliance
- Review daily operation to ensure Group’s tax compliance in accordance with local tax law and Group’s business requirements
- Review CIT, indirect tax (e.g. VAT, business tax, etc) and other local taxes returns & filing package to ensure the compliance with the local tax law and the timely tax reporting (coordinate and work with business units and PwC on the preparation of the annual CIT return and filing package)
- Review Deferred Tax reporting, tax proof & check file
- Preparation of internal tax reporting
- Review tax-related accounting
- Work with Plant Finance to review the VAT invoicing and arrangement on sales rebate, sales discount, cash discount etc
- Review the withholding tax filing and clearance of non-trade outward payments
- Forecast the business impact due to the change of tax regulation and law
- Preparation of the tax analysis and reports requested by the tax authorities
- Clarification with in-charge tax authorities on their queries
(iii) TP Tax Compliance
- Support in compliance with Transfer Pricing Documentation requirement
- Assist business units to identify and analyse intercompany transactions, review transfer pricing policies and ensure that the methodology and documentation are in compliance with local laws.
(iv) Tax Self-assessment I Audit I Health Check
- Assist plants, tax authorities, Group Tax and external tax advisor in Tax Self-assessment
- Assist plants, tax authorities, Group Tax and external tax advisor in Tax Audit
- Assist plants, tax authorities, Group Tax and external tax advisor in Tax Health Check exercises
(v) Tax Incentives & Preferential Status
- Assist in the negotiation process of tax incentives, preferential status and financial subsidy
- Review the application of filing package with Local MoST for BT exemption on royalty
- Review the application of filing package for financial incentives
- Review the application of filing package for preferential tax status
(vi) M&A projects
- Perform Tax due diligence
- Assist Asia Tax Director to provide advice to business units and M&A team on the following:
> Proposed tax due diligence findings in SPA
> Tax structuring (holding & deal financing)
> Tax consideration in assets / equity transfer
> Post deal rep & warranty (tax portion) follow up
> Tax simulation support in expansion / divestment / reorganisation projects

(vii) Communication & Relationship Management
- Taking the leading role in coordination with the local tax team in the Plants and local tax bureau on annual income tax filing
- Liaison with in-charge State & Local Tax Bureau for daily tax matters;
- Tax Bureau relationship development and management, e.g. arranging regular visits to in-charge State & Local Tax Bureau (provincial / local region) to build up and maintain good relationship
- Working with local tax teams & (or) external tax advisor to liaise with in-charge State &Local Tax Bureau on Tax Self-assessment / Tax Audit
- Tax service provider relationship management

任职资格:

- At least 7 years of related work experience in MNCs or tax department of CPA firms
- Great communication skills, excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Sound knowledge of China tax laws. Knowledge in tax laws of other Asia countries is a plus.
- Good command in both verbal/written English/Chinese.
- Mandarin is essential.
- With M&A experience is preferable.
