BASIC FUNCTION
Direct, coordinate, maintain and control the accounting system to accurately reflect the financial position of the Company. Responsible for the Company’s financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
Supervise the IT and legal affaires of the company with the help of internal and external resources.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance and Accounting:
· Manage total accounting operations to include: budgeting, general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, tax accounting and financial reporting and analysis.
· Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures
· Work with the Managing Director to coordinate and prepare the budget and financial forecasting
· Prepare financial analyses of operations including all interim and final financial statements
· Work with Strategic Management Team (SMT) to define, measure, analyze, improve and control current processes which impact customer quality and influence operating efficiency
· Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s finances
· Perform internal audits and work with external auditors to ensure accurate internal and external recording and reporting of financial transactions
· Furnish internal reports and revise and update reports to be more useful and efficient
· Manage tax planning and compliance with China Government laws for corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes
· Maintains the Transfer Pricing Manual according local requirements
· Participate in establishing Company/Department goals and objectives
· Serve as a resource and consultant to the Head of Division APAC in all aspects of accounting
· Work closely with parent company in Switzerland and Tianjin plants
· Has the final responsibility for providing effective financial controls for the organization
IT:
· Coordinates together with the Group CIO the implementation of the IT Strategy
· Enforce the proper respect of Group IT Rules and Guidelines, with a special focus on data security.
· Ensure the adequate sourcing, maintenance and disposal of IT equipment
· Regularly challenge the IT service provider for their pricing and service quality
· Has the final responsibility for the local IT-Infrastructure
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/BEHAVIOUR
· Superior knowledge of accounting and tax procedures.
· Strong financial statement preparation and GAAP knowledge.
· Ability to communicate with auditors and all levels of personnel within the company in an effective and professional manner.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
· Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Spreadsheets and Word.
· Working knowledge of ERP systems.
· SAP operation is a plus for future foreseen implementation.
· Self-reliant, well organized, quick learner, analytical, bright.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
· Minimum of 5 years progressive audit, accounting and/or finance experience
· Must have worked for a US- or European company for several years and/or CPA
