Title: Senior Revenue Accountant

Location: Shanghai

Overview:

Serve as Sr. Revenue Accountant/ Analyst, APAC to support Senior Manager, APAC. This position, based in Shanghai, is responsible for the license and services revenue function for Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

? Review of license and services agreements for compliance with Company guidelines, revenue recognition policy and US GAAP
? Partner with sales and services business consultants and corporate HQ to understand and resolve revenue recognition queries and issues identified in agreement reviews
? Support Revenue Manager month end reporting and analysis on revenue areas
? Support Revenue Manager in AR aging analysis, bad debt provision and credit approvals

Qualications:

? Accounting degree
? Minimum 5 years experience in revenue accounting, preferably in the software industry
? Experience with services contract review.
? Asia Pacific regional experience; knowledge of business cultures within APAC
? Working knowledge of SOP97-2, SOP81-1 and related pronouncements
? Attention to details
? Good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
? Highly motivated, independent and versatile team player who thrives in a fast paced environment
? Strong command of English, both verbal and written communication
