Position Specifications
Functional title - Finance Manger (Title is flexible and dependent on the
experience of the selected candidate)
Location - Saarbrucken, Germany
Reports to - CFO (HQ) and General Manager (Germany)

Main Objectives and Tasks
- Required to set up all aspects of financial management structure and devise and implement processes to cover the subsidiaries and investments in Germany and connect with the HQ;
- Manage all financial activities for the German Branch only, including: planning (annual expense and capital budget); internal controls (assets and banking) and commercial activities;
- Ensure the delivery of timely and accurate consolidated financial reports (monthly; quarterly; annual closing) for the branch that meets internal and external needs;
- Plan and ensure compliance with local German financial statutory requirements as well as China listed company needs;
- Research and provide financial analysis required by HQ on/for projects and plans related to the German branch and to support the management team to make decisions based on project economic values. These projects will cover Germany and other European countries;
- Establish network with local financial institutions to obtain funding, raise working capital or provide investment advice for the Germany branch and its subsidiaries.

Language / Ethnicity
- Native/Fluent written and spoken German
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Native/Fluent written and spoken Chinese

Personality attributes and experience
- Degree holder, major in Finance from an established institution; CPA is preferred;
- 5 to 8 years finance work experience preferably from an international firm;
- Preferred industries: trade and investment; banks or established accounting firms;
- Experience of working with both local German statutory requirements and Chinese accounting regulations;
- Ability to work independently and establish and institutionalize financial processes in a fairly new location;
- An honest person with strong interpersonal skills who can establish internal and external networks and deal with senior management and colleagues of different cultures.
