This candidate is responsible for all financial and accounting activities as required by Rain Bird following China government regulations and requirements. This candidate will work with local and corporate finance teams to recommend and manage operational improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interpret RB Asia’s operating results as they affect the financial aspects of RB Asia and make specific recommendations which will result in increased sales, cost reduction and/or profit improvement.
Monitor RB Asia’s accounting and internal control policies and procedures to insure accuracy and reliability of the financial records and security of company assets.
Calculate and allocate material, labor, processing and production costs.
Prepare annual budget reports and monthly cash flow, forecasts, inventory reports, and all other financial reports.
Regularly monitor RB Asia’s financial/accounting performance and efficiency.
Monitor accounting and internal financial control policy and procedures.
Review all China tax related documentation.
The filing of all required China financial governmental reports.
Assist Finance Manager to establish and maintaining policies and practice for retention of needed financial records.
Investigate and determine causes of irregularities and errors, and recommend the changes necessary to assure proper accounting in conformance with related China laws and regulations.
Bank reconciliation, fixed assets calculation and related depreciation on a monthly basis.
Act as the immediate contact with the RB Corporation and independent auditors on financial and accounting matters.

B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting.
Four to seven years Financial/Accounting experience (preferred in high volume manufacturing company environment.)

Good English verbal & written skills.
Excellent growth potential demonstrated through academic achievement and work history.
