Job Responsibilities
1. Location: Beijing
2. Reporting to: Controller
3. Direct report(s): Manage a team of 10-12 people
4. Function(s):
a) Ensure proper finance policies and procedures are followed for PRC and U.S. GAAP reporting
b) Ensure completion of timely, accurate and consistent financial accounting and reporting to provide necessary information to manage business and attain profitability objectives
c) Coordinate the timely and accurate preparation of operating budgets and forecasts
d) Support the implementation of any electronic financial systems necessary to support the units’ business, which may be either PC or central processing based
e) Ensure strong, appropriate financial controls within KC China by the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and instructions and by the establishment, maintenance, and audit of effective and reliable control procedures, consistent with those instructions
f) Contribute to a working environment in which individual contribution, while expected, is recognized; employees are treated fairly and with respect; and each member seeks to continually improve the department’s performance, services, and processes
Preferred Candidate Profile
1. Nationality: PRC national
2. Education: Bachelor degree or above, and major in finance or accounting
3. Languages: English and Mandarin
4. Age: Late 20s to mid 30s
5. Experience:
· 5-6 years working experience in MNCs on financial function or auditing firms
· Proficiency in personal computer applications, especially MS Excel
· US GAAP knowledge
6. Competencies/Attributes:
· Mature, open and confident personality
· High sense of responsibility and personal integrity
· Strong people management and organizational ability
· Good communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Be able to work under high pressure
· Fluent in both oral and writing English
