Job Title: Finance Director, Asia Pacific

Location: Shanghai, China

Report to: CFO, VP Finance ACS

Primary Functions:

• Support the Asia Pacific businesses in all finance related matters and operational matters where appropriate
• Manage Profit & Loss/Balance Sheet forecasts and meeting financial commitments as set out by the SBU Management
• Lead FP&A activities in Asia Pacific businesses to ensure financial performances are analyzed and explained to the SBU Management
• Establish Annual Operating Plans with guidance from the SBU and Approved STRAP
• Lead and manage the Asia Pacific Finance Team comprising country Finance Partners, and FP&A resources

Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive financial advisory support to the Asia Pacific businesses in achieving business plans and targets
• Partner in regional and SBU management to drive business results
• Assist the business managers in preparing strategic & financial plans
• Responsible for regular management reports, financial forecasts, financial analyses and responding to ad hoc requests for financial information
• Responsible for issue of incentive plans based on key financial performance measurement and eventually verify actual performance for payment of incentives
• Liaison with Global Business Services, Global Credit & Treasury Services and other functional departments for matters pertaining to the Asia Pacific businesses
• Liaison with SBU Management and leaders on implementation of key initiatives and objectives
• Ensure that business practices are conducted in accordance with applicable policy and accepted accounting practices
• Participate in Six Sigma training and perform the role of a finance reviewer when requested by project owners of Asia Pacific businesses
• Participate or take lead in projects of system implementation, process improvement and finance functional excellence

Education:

• Tertiary education major in either finance, accounting or business studies
• MBA degree would be considered favorably

Experience:

• Knowledge on Oracle/SAP ERP and HFM applications
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of related working experience in Finance, with good knowledge of business processes and internal controls
• Additional work experience in public accounting profession or relevant finance work would be considered favorably
• Previous experience in a regional role would be preferred
