A Fortune 500 energy and aluminium supplier with 33,000 employees in nearly 40 countries. Customers include automotive, packaging and building industries.
The company is currently operating a representative office and trading unit in Beijing and 3 manufacturing plants in Xian, Suzhou and Kunshan.
The trading company is based in Beijing and has just developed its warehouse in Economical Zone in Yizhuang, Beijing together with the head office. It also has a sales office in Shanghai.
JOB PURPOSE: This position is a replacement to the original position holder who will leave by the end of Sept. 2006.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsibility for: - Finance and accounting function involving reporting, planning, analysis and controlling.; - Treasury; - Budgeting and forecasting, planning & analysis and internal control; - Financial audits; - Supervise a team of _2_ staff;

QUALIFICATIONS:
University graduation or above with a major in Accounting, Finance & Economics is required; MAB will be a plus.
Detailed and practical knowledge of financial accounting / reporting;
Familiar with Sales & Marketing, Trading business environment;
At least 8 years of practical experience in Accounting position with over 4 years in Manager position;
Familiar with US GAAP and IFRS;
Good English and Chinese language skill (both reading and writing);
Familiar with MIS systems and having the experience to implement new ERP systems.
