POSITION TITLE: Financial Controller
LOCATION: Beijing
REPORT TO: Asia Regional Financial Controller

It is the world leader in environmental services, 2nd largest worldwide operator in waste management sector and the only operator active across the entire spectrum of solid, liquid and hazardous waste serving both local authorities and industrial customers. With 71,000 employees in 34 countries, the company posted Euro 6.6 billion revenue in year 2005.
JOB PURPOSE: Due to strategy requirement, the company is moving their Asia Regional Finance headquarter from Shanghai to Beijing. There is an immediate requirement for a Financial Controller who can provide local finance / accounting / audit support to the Asia Regional Financial Controller in
Beijing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
² Preparation of accounting reports according to IFRS and US GAAP ² Preparation of monthly consolidation reports under IFRS and financial comments to Paris headquarter ² Audit planning including time and cost budget ² Performing of annual audit including market analysis, analytical review of financial statements, internal control test and substantive test ² Consolidation of financial statements ² Provision of accounting and internal control improvement advisory ² Provision of tax advisory ² Ad-hoc assignments, special projects, and assist in feasibility study on business analysis for Asia ² Preparation of consolidated twice yearly forecast, strategic plan and annual budget ² Assistance to the subsidiaries in policies, supports, consolidation ² Maintenance and development of the reporting system
QUALIFICATIONS:
² Financial and accounting qualifications - Bachelor degree + accounting qualification ² 8+ years working experience in Finance, or at least 3~5 years of auditing experience preferred ² Exposure to IFRS is a must ² Experience of international environment essential ² Good command in spoken and written English ² Experience of reporting and consolidation software preferred ² Strong communication skill essential ² Strong coordination skill essential EMAIL: Kate.liu@epc-search.com
