Organized, precise, effective Analytical spirit Good at communicating financial complexities in clear, concise graphs and formulas Fluent oral communication for presentations of financial data or exchanging with HO fellow financial colleagues, internal or external auditors and fiscal/tax administration Capacity to analyse the fiscal environment and formulate related recommendations Believing that numbers are not an obscure science for specialists but a lever to understand and to change the reality
Responsibilities : l
Responsible for the organization’s overall financial plans and policies along with its accounting practices. Implements accounting policies and procedures. l
Responsible for directing the financial control function i.e. budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, etc. Analyses and interprets financial data to provide management with information on cost allocation. Controls, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis. l
Directs and controls the financial, management and cost accounting, taxation, internal audit and treasury functions. l
Prepares accounting books and ledgers, balance sheets, P&L statements. Encodes invoices and vouchers with proper account distribution, compiles data for preparation of scheduled and special accounting reports, analyses and statements. l
Prepares accounts, budget forecast and ensures availability of accurate accounting information for management reference. l
Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area. l
Reconciles bank accounts, posts information and balances general or subsidiary ledgers, processes payments and compiles segments of monthly closings, annual reports, etc. l
Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems. l
Summarizes payments under headings prescribed by accounting policy and arrange for drawing of cheques or other forms of payment.
Reporting – Organisation:
The performance of the Finance Director will be followed by the Managing Director for China of Banque Accord.
Candidate PROFILE:
Age: 30-40 years old
Studies: Diploma or Bachelor degree in Accounting, finance or equivalent
Experience: 6 -10 years of financial
experience in foreign invested or multinational companies.
Language: Chinese native speaker, fluent oral and written English a must (French could be an additional advantage).
Computer: Computer literate (MS office software :Word and Excel and Power Point)
Personality
Amiable personality and acts as overall coordinator and first-line advisor to the Managing Director of Banque Accord on all finance-related matters. You have strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and team spirit.
Qualities You are open-minded with good intra-company/group communication skills as well good inter-face skills with various external financial service providers and administrations. Working overtime might be required to meet the deadline of reportings and key business / project targets. You are familiar with PRC accounting and tax regulations, and with relevant accountant certification.
Remuneration:
The salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
